Overview
The Trainer is responsible for design, development and delivery of education and training for UHM operations.
Responsibilities
- Create training content for classroom, webinar and elearning programs covering operations from processing through post closing
- Conduct training classes in person and via webex
- Ensure Partner needs are met before, during and after training
- Research, understand and articulate agency and UHM specific underwriting guidelines, policies and procedures
- Work with subject matter experts across UHM to validate accuracy of content
- Support partners who have questions or needs related to training and training content
- Operate UHMs learning management system, as needed to facilitate instructor lead online programs
- Honor the UHM code of conduct
- Ability to travel to conduct training as needed
Education & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of processing, underwriting or origination experience with Govt., Conv., and DU/LP
- Minimum 2 years of presenting classroom training, or equivalent
- General knowledge of mortgage products and processes
- Proficient with MS word, excel and ppt required
- Encompass Loan Origination system knowledge is preferred
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
- Excellent grammar, spelling and written communication skills
- Ability to learn new technology
- Detail-oriented
- Creative
- Skilled at multi-tasking and keeping organized
- Skilled at project management
