In summary, the position requires an experienced professional who can set direction, devise a comprehensive plan, and drive projects to completion.

Major responsibilities:

  • Define and manage a content lifecycle, inclusive of roles, publication, editing, processes, permissions, knowledge audits, content expiration, and search results optimization.
  • Champion Knowledge Management across the organization; building partnerships with business and technology stakeholders.

  • Create standard operating procedures, service level agreements and compliance guidelines to streamline content contribution processes.
  • Apply metadata and taxonomy management strategies to organize and classify content.
  • Create and manage a centralized business engagement model for the KM team.

You will thrive if you have

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 8-10 years of professional experience
  • A strong understanding of content management systems: functionality, site mapping, taxonomy, content classification, best practices, content types, metadata, permissions and security, compliance and auditing
  • Excellent project management skills and track record of delivering commitments on time
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence effectively across organizational levels
  • The ability to lead change, coach and inspire individuals to improve operational efficiencies
  • A personality that is self-directed, enthusiastic and driven to succeed
  • The ability to think critically with a strong attention to detail
  • The ability to communicate technical (a must), and non-technical information clearly
