DESCRIPTION
Do you have an unrelenting commitment to improve lives? LifeDojo is seeking a lifestyle health coach for a work-from-home, part-time position anywhere in the West Coast region.
Your goal will be to guide workplace employees through a 12-week program that requires them to choose specific lifestyle adjustments to develop into new long term habits. Their ultimate goal? To reduce stress in their daily life and become healthier and happier.
You will have several technology tools at your disposal, with a comprehensive online program giving employees the motivation, information, and tools they need to succeed. The coach is the glue that brings it together, and the support person that is there to help each person set up their life to succeed in creating new habits that last. LifeDojo coaches interact with users via phone coaching sessions and online chat.
This role is part time, generally 10-20 hours per week. Due to the nature of the platform, coaching schedules are determined by end-user demand and are variable and often unpredictable. Start dates are dependent on client launch dates. Occasional evenings and team meetings via conference call or Skype will be required. An initial optional paid orientation and training will be offered through video sessions and group calls with LifeDojo team and your fellow coaches.
You must have health coaching, therapy, or lifestyle improvement program experience.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
- Experience as a health coach, therapist, counselor, or a related role
- Excellent communication, writing, and grammar skills
- Empathy, energy, and thoughtfulness
- Adept at utilizing technology tools on the web and mobile
- An appreciation of the difference between science and fad
- Education: Bachelor’s degree. Preferred: a degree in health, social work, public health or psychology
- Native/fluent English speaking
