Foundr Magazine is the magazine for entrepreneurs, by entrepreneurs. Over 1 million entrepreneurs consume our content every month for advice on startups, entrepreneurship, marketing and growth. Our covers have featured people such as Sir Richard Branson, Arianna Huffington, Seth Godin, Tony Robbins and many more game-changing founders.

We are looking for a writer to craft content for our large audience and help us take our blog to the next level. Our immediate goal is to triple our traffic numbers in the coming months and we need a passionate content creator who wants to be a part of this endeavor and absolutely crush it with us!

We are not just looking for a great writer. We are looking for a driven content creator/marketer who has proven experience crafting engaging, game-changing content for fast-growth websites and who deeply understands the relationship between content and traffic. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Write one epic, long-form blog post a week to be promoted to our audience of hundreds of thousands of subscribers and 1.5M social followers
  • Write content that drives HOT leads to welcome further into our world
  • Create promotional content to post on social sites
  • Create compelling meta descriptions
  • Write high-converting copy for weekly newsletters
  • Write content for ad-hoc projects as needed
  • Interview team members to source information for experience-based strategy blog posts
  • Participate in bi-monthly content meetings around strategy and process
  • Contribute to content strategy and traffic-driving initiatives


Skills/Attributes Required

  • You love serving and helping people (That’s what we are all about!)
  • You get excited thinking about increasing traffic numbers and crafting content people are obsessed with
  • Proven experience writing content around startups / SMBs / business strategy / marketing / growth
  • Proven experience growing blogs with your amazing content
  • Copywriting chops and knowledge on how to craft content to cause a reader to take action; experience with creating super compelling headlines without click-baiting
  • Knowledge of the startup world and building and scaling online businesses
  • Ability to juggle many projects at once and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Open to constructive criticism and feedback
  • You work well independently and you religiously meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with remote workplace tools: Slack, Trello, Skype
  • Knowledge of content marketing a plus
  • SEO knowledge a plus
  • Previous experience working with startups a plus
